Description

With the educational intention of developing socio-emotional skills, built on daily actions and interactions, in accordance with SDG 4 and SDG 16, the project aims to promote a Culture of Peace, involving actions with oneself, others and the environment, recognizing and reflecting that Human Rights and the Culture of Peace are basic social rights and that they promote PEACE in society through the experience of the values ​​of freedom and justice. Also, in development of the theme, there is a partnership with the Lions Club in which the Lions Quest Program is developed, which promotes the development of socio-emotional skills and discusses issues of coexistence and diversity in society, being agents of transformation and respect for different cultures and possibilities of living and acting in society. 

This year, the date was clarified with the launch of the book: Vibrando Alta Frequência. Awakening Consciousness”, the result of a project developed with teenagers from the Southern Innovation Center, who, in addition to honoring the teacher, had moments of reflection, relaxation, workshops, open-air theater, and music and art performances with the presence of children from the Parque Unit. Actions to promote Peace were developed in the various units of the Specialized Directorate for Children and Adolescents aged 6 to 14, and dynamics were carried out with teenagers from the Northern and Eugênio de Melo Innovation Centers aged 15 to 18, in the cafeterias, with the writing of letters and messages to their colleagues, in addition to various presentations. Our institutional communication was covered to enrich the records and strengthen the importance of remembering that we have a World of Peace
