{"id":4342,"date":"2023-11-06T15:21:27","date_gmt":"2023-11-06T18:21:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundhas.org.br\/portfolio\/portfolio2023\/?page_id=4342"},"modified":"2025-10-02T15:24:39","modified_gmt":"2025-10-02T18:24:39","slug":"international-day-of-indigenous-peoples","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/fundhas.org.br\/portfolio\/portfolio2023\/home\/international-day-of-indigenous-peoples\/","title":{"rendered":"International Day of Indigenous Peoples"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Theme: <b>International Day of Indigenous Peoples<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #00aeef;\">Description<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Traditional knowledge and culture are of paramount importance in the formation of Brazilian society and contact with these people can generate a recovery of the knowledge they hold.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project&#8217;s educational intention is to celebrate the various Brazilian indigenous ethnicities, rescuing the importance of preserving and resisting ancestral knowledge in its relationship with its land, culture and society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The storytelling project presented \u201cIndigenous Tales, an experience of Indigenous ancestry\u201d, using as an influence the book \u201cGrandmother\u00a0 Spoke\u201d by writer Daniel Munduruku, in which the boy Kaxiborem\u00f3 tells what his daily life is like in the villages, his values and beliefs. It is at this moment that children\/<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> teeangers<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will have contact with music, legends, vocabulary, customs, experiences, enabling a new look at indigenous peoples.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With Storytelling addressing such an important topic for land protection, we know that Indigenous Peoples play a crucial role in environmental preservation in Brazil, due to their deep connection and traditional knowledge of fauna and flora, enabling an environment conducive to rich discussions, debates and research on indigenous culture and ancestry, their contributions and influences.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00aeef;\">Image Gallery\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Theme: International Day of Indigenous Peoples Description Traditional knowledge and culture are of paramount importance in the formation of Brazilian society and contact with these people can generate a recovery of the knowledge they hold.
