Theme: International Volunteer Day
Description
The project aims to identify and apply techniques and scripts for the elaboration of projects through research and technical visits to various social entities seeking to develop citizenship and awareness of the importance of social action for personal and professional development – initial phase of the training itinerary for the care of teenagers, from 15 years of age.
With the educational intention of an action on the volunteer’s day, in the first instance within the premises of our institution, to promote the development of personal skills and later, in the entities chosen by the teenagers of the projects, with a view to improving the quality of their lives and of other people, positively affecting the self-esteem of those involved.
The chosen projects involved actions with children from the Fundhas institution from 6 to 14 years old, with the elderly and assisted by other social projects in the municipality.
Volunteering adds value to your professional activities and enriches your curriculum, as provided for in SDG 4 – Quality Education – “Ensuring access to inclusive, quality and equitable education, and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all”, in addition to exceptionally developing a habit of citizenship and commitment to acting in society, developing co-responsibility and interaction with the environment in which they live.
