Theme: International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development / Sustainable Development / World Environment Day

The project has as educational intention the development of practical activities using the knowledge of the basic sciences (sciences, mathematics, physics and technology), building knowledge for solving future problems, favoring learning in a participatory, collective and fun way, being still developed in a sustainable manner through the use of recyclable materials and electronic waste for the construction of prototypes (automatons, toys, among others), as provided for in SDG 12 – “Ensure sustainable production and consumption standards”
Enabling the promotion of autonomy through flexibility, reflection/construction of their learning, it is intended to increase students’ interest, helping in the development of creativity, aiming to enhance contact with different cultures, the development of self-confidence, bond, critical thinking and problem solving through new tools.

At FUNDHAS in the “Environmental Center”, the children had the opportunity to commemorate the Environment Day, linked to the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development, to make a shuttlecock, working on autonomy when exploring the environment to select the existing materials in the Center, in addition to sharing their knowledge with colleagues, strengthening critical thinking and problem solving.
