Description
The project’s educational intention is the development of socio-emotional skills, through didactic activities and pedagogical practices supported by teaching tools, structured and organized in the Lions Quest International Program. The competencies monitored are: self-knowledge, responsible self-knowledge, social awareness, relationship skills and decision-making skills.
With the objective of contributing to the expansion of the Culture of Peace, foreseen in ODS 16 and in the search for effective responses to situations of conflict and violence within the scope of schools and the community, values such as responsibility, respect, dialogue, were produced in 2022, drawings and letters, some in the Ukrainian language, as a support to the children of Ukraine, aiming at the end of the conflict, that is, a record of Peace in times of war.
Another work developed took place with the participation in the Peace Poster Contest, whose theme for 2022 is “Leading with Compassion”, which is a worldwide event promoted by Lions Club International, with the objective of encouraging children from 11 to 13 years old to creatively express their perceptions about peace, seeking to stimulate the reflection of students, parents, teachers and the entire school community on the subject, sharing opinions and points of view, it is possible to build a world of greater tolerance and international understanding. After making the posters, Lions clubs will make exhibitions inside the headquarters and in a public place, to mobilize the local community, in addition to the virtual exhibition that will take place on the Augustin Soliva Lions club page.
Still on this theme, actions were developed to disseminate and reflect on Peace in various aspects between age groups, differences between human beings and their performance in society, through poetry, sarais, poetic collections in which they were able to express their emotions and feelings after circles. of discussions and studies on the subject, which took place in different spaces and environments outside the institution, in which there was the participation of citizens from São Paulo who contributed to the development of the theme in adolescence. On September 21th, there was an event in celebration of Peace with the exhibition of works and a differentiated program valuing the Culture of Peace.
