Description
The “We do our part” project is part of the A3P agenda and is being implemented in public agencies at São José dos Campos city, aiming to expand and improve selective collection after diagnosing the lack of awareness, inadequate segregation and incorrect packaging of waste. in public bodies, according to SDG 04 “Ensure inclusive and equitable and quality education, and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all and SDG 12 “Ensure sustainable production and consumption patterns”.
The Environmental Agenda in Public Administration (A3P) is a program of the Ministry of the Environment that aims to encourage public agencies in the country to implement sustainability practices. The adoption of the A3P demonstrates the agency’s concern with achieving efficiency in public activity while promoting the preservation of the environment.
Raising awareness among children and adolescents about the proper disposal of waste, recyclable and organic.
Involvement of the Unit’s professionals, along with children and adolescents, in the activities proposed by the institution, which during the week raised awareness of the topic, with the presentation of the video sent by URBAM, research using chromebooks, ending with the construction of warning posters about the need for proper disposal of the waste we produce as a way of preserving the environment.
