The project meets SDG 4 “Ensure inclusive, equitable and quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all” and SDG 2 “End hunger, achieve food security and improve nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture” and aims at sustainable production and changing habits and responsible attitudes towards the environment and itself in the pursuit of quality of life, conscious consumption and preservation, raising environmental awareness, in addition to highlighting the nature as a preponderant factor for the development and continuity of output in healthy growth, development and aging processes.

In celebration of World Environment Day, the FUNDHAS Environmental Center space carried out the project “Girassonhos: Sowing Attitudes” throughout the month of June, totaling 960 people assisted, respecting the capacity of the environments due to social distance. The activities were: preparation and tasting of the Banana Peel Cake and the Ora-Pro-Nóbis PANC Cake, with the specific objective of “Minimizing waste, contributing to a more sustainable world and obtaining all its nutritional potential from an ingredient ”; planting fruit trees in the units, with the specific objectives of “contributing to the improvement of nutritional quality in food and, consequently, to improving health” and “perceiving oneself as an integral, dependent and transforming agent and maintainer of the environment”. sunflower individual; classes and exhibitions on the gradual evolution of degeneration, recovery and conservation of the environment.
